North Leinster Citizens Information Service required an annual report that would communicate the scale of its work across five counties while balancing detailed governance, financial reporting and performance data. Pixelo Design developed a professional publication that transformed complex information into an accessible and visually engaging report for stakeholders, funders, board members and the wider community.
The Challenge
North Leinster Citizens Information Service needed to communicate a significant volume of information covering service delivery, advocacy, social policy, governance, workforce development and financial performance. The report had to present detailed statistics, regional service updates and organisational achievements in a format that was easy to navigate and engaging to read.
With multiple audiences including funders, board members, government stakeholders, staff, volunteers and service users, the report required a clear structure that balanced accountability with storytelling while reflecting the organisation's mission of providing accessible information and advocacy services throughout the North Leinster region.
Our Approach
We worked closely with the client to develop a structured report framework that guided readers through the organisation's story, from strategic leadership and organisational performance through to service delivery, client impact and financial reporting.
A strong visual hierarchy was established to improve navigation, supported by a consistent colour palette, custom iconography, infographics and carefully planned page layouts. Key statistics and achievements were highlighted throughout the report to ensure important information could be quickly understood by readers.
Special attention was given to creating a publication that felt approachable and human, incorporating client voices, staff stories, regional updates and impact-focused content alongside governance and financial disclosures.
